Well designed and easy to navigate

I had been looking for an app like this for a long time. On the fly i can get an accurate review of beers. This apps power is in the large number of users and ratings/beers reviewed. Very robust database. Reviews have been largely spot-on. Absolutely should download!

This app isnt breaking new ground but it does what it does well. I really enjoy it and if you want a mobile way to track, rate and look for beer then youve got it here!

Even though most of my friends use Untappd, I have found this app to be indispensable over the last few years. While almost any app can help you catalog/track the various brews you have tried, the recommendation engine -customized from my own preference data- is what really makes this app worthwhile! It has helped steer me to beers I might not have chosen otherwise, while helping me to avoid wasting choices on ones I likely would not enjoy. Get this app. You wont regret it.

This is a pretty good app for the bar if you happen across something you like. However, if you get deep into craft beers, youre going to find stuff out here that isnt listed. If they ever found a way to make that happen (and I havent seen ANY app doing any better than this one), Id gladly pay money for a more comprehensive version of this app.

Can be an almost perfect app with a few more updates. Every tasting note I submit I encounter a Type screen I cannot exit. But restarting the app clears this. Also a few pages that cause the app to crash. Other than this it does everything and then some of what I want for a beer log and recommender.

Connect to Facebook! I want to see my friends ratings. Plus this will get you more users. Otherwise, best beer app by FAR.

Database is definitely missing a lot of beers and adding new ones doesnt seem to be working

Easy to use. Keep up with beers you have tried. Develop your own rating standards. Get recommendations of beers to try next. Perfect.

Looked like a great app, but if youre just getting here, we missed the party. Database out of date, app no longer updated. Maybe try Untappd or Next Glass instead.

But its been forever since the last upgrade. Even with hundreds of ratings, recs were never close. Never cared. But I care a lot that all my tasting notes are locked in an app that I gave unrequited commitment. Bummer.

Im pretty much is it all this app shows its age and the database as well shows its lack of a lot of the newer high profile beers.

Ive been using this app for a long time to track the beers Ive tasted and really like it, but sadly it hasnt been updated in years so the database is lacking anything new. Im pretty sure that if I submit a new beer it shows up on my app but is never actually added to a database. Ive tried contacting them but I get bounced messages. Bummer, as I have tasting notes for almost 500 beers Ive tried and cant export the data so Im essentially stuck using a dead app. In the wise words of Altered Beast - Rise from your grave! (already)

Every few months Ill search up all the other beer tracking apps and every time I arrive at the same conclusion...BrewGene is the best by FAR. I wish theyd make more of a push as my friends have never heard of it. I try to get them on board and link up. I love the simplicity of this app. I never write reviews but felt compelled for BrewGene! Good work guys!

Nice app. Helps me store my opinions so I dont buy beer that I didnt like. Also gives pretty good recommendation once you review enough beers. 5 stars.
