Cannot add to library

Tried to add a beer - there is an iPhone issue where when the duplicates page comes up - the keyboard is in the way and you cannot proceed without exiting out and then reopening. Also, I encountered a database connection error when I finally made it past the duplicate screen. I have screenshots if interested.
